I want to tell you about what I done in my game so far, and I wonder if I have done the right or wrong choice at one point.
I play the Yor on a gigantic galaxy. The Iconians, Terrans and Arceans are my closest neighbour, and me and the Iconians have an history of violence (they started it, and they regretted it). The only trade partner I choosed to have is the Terrans (but Arceans, Krox and Torians begun to trade with me)
I am EVIL. The top-4 peoples of the galaxy are the Altarians, the Drengins, the Torians and the Drath. I have formed an Alliance with the Krox, since we are 6th and 7th military power.
I was kinda in a secure position as long as the Drengins were there. They maintained the balance of power between us (evil) and the good civs. However, they had a change of heart, and turned themselves GOOD! (arg!)
After some time, the Drath attacked the Krox. Now, here is a point:
Should I have accepted to declare war on the Drath, or should I have broken my alliance? (you have to answer this, at this point of reading). Note: I am at the side of a map, so I have no back to being attacked from. My neighbours are either good trade partners, or former beaten ennemies.
Here what came up next. I took the side of my allie, and we began to fight the war. But the Altarians, telling me that I am "treathening their interest", declare war on me (the loyal Krox declare war on them.) So now, it's #1 and #4 against #6 and #7. But #7 is a human player, so I'll call it even (so far).
However, after a few weeks, the Drengin declare war on the Krox, saying "We will rid the Galaxy of the menace of the Krox. Everybody is invited to join the party". I declare war on the Drengins.
So now, it's #1, #2 and #4 against #6 and #7. Did I chosed wrong to help the Krox? Will I manage a political manoeuver to turn the Terrans and the Torians against the Galaxy's superpower? Will the Iconians try a ridiculous attempt to take back their lost half?
