I posted my issue in the 'bug reports" forum, but I don't know if I'll get a help in from there. I apologise for cross posting.
I purchased the CD and loaded disk one without a problem. Next, I followed the instructions and inserted disk 2. The disk just spins for a while then I get a "non-responding" error. When I look at the Windows tak manager, I see two "galciv2 installation programs (both "non-responding". I shut down all Windows programs including anti-virus software (Norton) prior to loading.
So, I remove the disk and get a "program aborted" message. Can anyone help me?
If I can't get the program to load from the CD, can I download it? I have the serial number and store recept to prove it's a legal disk.
Afterthought: I looked at the contents of disk two. The only two execution files are for directx 9 and "noautorun.exe" . How can these files complete the installation anyway?
