Yor Logistics bonus bug

I was fooling around a bit with the different race settings, and after a while I noticed that all the races had recieved a X% to logistics... it varies between 6 and 10 and all races have it, also in the abilities tab, some races have -1 I believe this is because the game deducts a point for the logistics

on a related note, is there any way to reset the races? as I was fooling around I don't think any race has their original abilities anymore... which is a bit sad

Sorry.... but what is the title of your post to do with the content of it? I can't see a bug there that you are talking about?

All the core races innately have a varying bonus to logistics.

To reset the races you can either go into your documents, games folder and delete the custom civ files, or someone else said that you can select the civ in the menu, press the reset button at the bottom, then click back to the main menu. This is reported to reset them to the original settings.

Next patch they're going to have an easier way to reset them apparently.

you sure? oh well, that is a relief. I guess I shouldn't have been fiddling around so much in the beginning

anyway, pressing reset in the game just gives me all 10 ability points, I'll try deleting those files.

but what about the -1 ability point I seem to be getting sometimes, how does that occur?

While I'm at it, I had designed a new ship, which looked stunning, but then my game crashed, so I loaded up a previous save (about 8 turns). Now my newly designed ship isn't in the shipyard anymore, but the ****.shipclass is still in my documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships folder, any way I can activate it in my current game? also, anyway I can bring back obsoluted designs again?

Pressing reset, then pressing back (to the menu screen) was the suggestion! When you first select a race, you will notice that it has a full series of abilities, but the Abilities bar is highlighted yellow suggesting that you click on it - as far as I can tell, you dont need to! You can just go ahead and play with the stock abilities.

The -1 ability point comes up on 2 races I believe - it's not a problem, that's just their inherent abilities.

Perhaps you have also reloaded until before the tech you had on it? I hope so for your sake, otherwise it might just not show up again in this game! Currently, you can't bring back obsoleted designs.

Ah, okay... hmmm, stupid me yep, it worked just as you said, in your first post... feel free to slap me once for illiteracy

And no, I was in the middle of a tech when I designed it. bummer.

just another question while I'm at it, If I'm at war with someone, will their planets still convert if I've got a high enough influence? or will they loyally stay with their original owner for the duration of the war?
