I think this game is great, but I have to say that the way the game is balanced currently, Influence is too easy to attain for a human player and too difficult to counter for an AI player -- at least compared to the other forms of victory.
I think this is important, because I really LIKE to play a game in which one can win by influence, or at least keep all possibilities open.
THe last games I have played, I have wanted to attain a military victory, and even designed my race to have only military bonuses -- no diplomatic or cultural ones. Still, I ended up winning by influence. It seems the AI really will not try to keep its influence up, and it also does not react properly to opponent influence starbases (probably because the AI doesnt build them as they should).
I would think it would be GREATLY appreciated if this could be addressed in upcoming patches -- thank you so much!
