That's Star Control right? I always wanted to play that but I never really got around to it .

The Devourer is loosely inspired by the Chaos ships from the Warhammer 40k universe but any other resemblance is purely coincidental and such.

Two new ships hot off the... err... space yards. Cold, perhaps, would be a better choice, what with it being space and all. Anyways..

First is the Armistice, a colony ship. The design concept was a long-distance colony ship strapped to the gills with engines.





The second ship is the Octopus-class construction vessel. I gave it manipulators because it seemed logical for a space-borne construction vessel, although I could have perhaps positioned them in something of a more dramtic pose. Maybe later if I feel like over-hauling the design.

Here's a few of my Terran designs. I've got *lots* of designs for every type of ship, so here are just a few! Also, I have a load of really cool Thalan ones all designed to look like insects - but Thalans wont start on Battle Of The Gods mode so I need to wait until the next time I play a game through with them. Also, it's really difficult I find to take a good snap of designs - they just dont look as good in 2d!

Terran Battleship (Large Hull)

Terran Constructor. Each of the arms has different tools on the end - again, it looks better in 3d!

Terran Transport. I have a range of different transports - most look evil but this thing looks mean moving through space.

Hmmm thats not exactly how I thought it would come out. I expected thumbnails and now I cant seem to edit my post. Any chance an admin can edit the links above to get the thumbnails showing please?

Hi everyone. Names Abraxas, played GC1 and loved it, now I am looking forward to playing GC2 and showing you guys some of my ships. Question though. Should I update my software(have the CE) or leave it the way it is until the new patch, cause I hear the current one is kinda disruptive to the design process?

Kissmyaxe, I like your solar sail design. It reminds of battletech jumpships. Mmm... Battletech mod...

For imageshack you have to use "sites" links rather than "forum" links for them to work on here. Hope that helps

If you're referring to me, I will continue to leave them uncropped because it's the only way I can keep track of which design is which, and which hull size they're using Also makes it a handy reference for those looking at my pics.

To tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure how it's done. I'd be happy to throw a .zip pack of my ships in the library, but I have no idea what I would have to include, nor where the appropriate files should go. You'd also likely need Kyro's Hull Mod to make any of my (or most others featured here) designs work.

Holy crap Steeler...nice stuff! Love the color scheme too (MY color scheme...lol). Some really nice designs, I especially love the nova and the stardust.
