although, I think the prongs on your Millenium Falcon are a little long because from what I remember, the prongs were a bit shorter.

as for the colors, in the demo I find that I'm preferring a copper trim and black hull, sometimes black trim and copper hull. That color scheme looks especially cool on the drengin hulls

I see many people like to shrink their functional components so they don't interfere with their design. I think it just takes a bit of work to incorporate them in.

One thing I would like is to have non-functional components that look like functional ones so you can balance the design.

Anyways, here is what you can do if you want to create a super engine.

nice. what the heck is the hullpiece in the front? it might be a Torian or Yor hull because those aren't shown in the demo.

My first real ship replacement!
Early on, I had a scouting vessel, the astronomer-629:

But as time went by, and the nearby planets had all been catalogued, it became more important to switch roles to a research vessel for scouting anomolies. Thus a job upgrade to the cartographer-947:

Axel Kane, two of your links aren't working for some reason. and how did you make the enterprise without mods? I think I can figure out the Klingon Ship without mods, but not sure about the Enterprise.

Click the second of the two links on each line. The first one doesn't work and I don't know how to clean it up without deleting both.

For the Enterprise, well, expect to spend quite a few hours. I used a medium drengin hull, but you can't see any of it in the design anyway. Lots of use of long antennae with the hexagonal attachment modifier at the end, then more antennae to make the framework of the saucer section.

I got the Klingon and the Enterprise to combat each other by building both, then giving the Klingon ship to the Torians (because, well, they're green) and then attacking the "gift "ship with Enterprise.

yea, definetly cool stuff

anyway, I have one or two that I did in the demo that I could show here.

also, how do you turn off the light reflection off of the hull and parts? thats annoying to me, especially when I do a top view and the reflection of the sun (I think thats what its suppoused to be) is obscuring the detail. I haven't seen that problem much in the screenshots in here. A little offtopic, I know, but just an annoying little thing.

I don't have pkzip...the library requires submission in ZIP format. But I suppose I can download and install a trial version. The other thing is, exactly what files would I need to upload into the library in order to allow other users to access to these ships? I do have an entire fleet of various Klingon vessels, and the Enterprise (probably 20 hours work in all). No mods used.

(Big ego boost if I shared and others liked them)

ok, here is my Manta class troopcarrier. I was trying to make it look manta ray shaped, but ended up with something more round than triangular and it sort of has the frontal prongs.

never seen that interface before, which mod is it? Kryos hull mod? because I think I see the insingia (sp? ) in some of the pics.
