Registration Woes...

A friend of mine is trying to register here on stardock, but can't seem to. Is something going on with the registration system, or is it just simple overload for the system?

We'll need a bit more detail than that.   What error messages is he/she getting and on what page?

Unfortunately, he's apparently getting a different one each time. He also hasn't provided details on the content of those messages either. I have, however, linked this thread in the forum he was requesting help from, though. I anticipate getting more information shortly.

I too had these problems I was getting an error page. I went to one of the affiliated websites and registered there (galciv.com i think) since those accounts work with galciv2.com

This is what my friend is getting:

"Right now I get a "The resource cannot be found." when I click create account. That's a brand new one.

I had a 999 error a few times when I'd entered my registration details, or occasionally I got an error that had a message involving "@email". Although I'm sure there were one or two others too that I'm forgetting"

That could be a server related issue. It's hard to say.

Even as we speak, the poor IT guys are hustling like crazy to get more servers on-line, optimize code, distribute the load.

I am having a similar problem. I was able to download the bonus pack from the galciv2 website earlier today, but now the website won't take my serial number. Stardock Central will also not take my serial number. I purchased the game from Amazon.
