GC Trinkets

I was wondering if there are any financial prospects for creating a figurine or statue, perhaps of one of the robots ... or even better, a model of a one of the GC ships...something.
I've had the Everquest high elf princess donning the top of my CD storage case for a number of years now. It's about time that she was joined by/moved by something GC.
I think this was discussed months ago but I didn't find it nor any comments about the possibility. Was this discussed or I'm I suffering from pre GC2 release traumatic stress disorder?

Dear Frogboy,

I'm a lousy artist but see with your contest the following...
Galactic Civilizations II die-cast metal starship from the game.
Does that mean there might be something available to the general public later on?
Wulfer has WoW bronze figures, EQ plastic figures and perhaps a die-cast metal GC2 starship?
