You should cancel your play.com order and order it from stardock. You could then download it tomorrow at 1500 EST. Or you could wait for play.com to mail it to you. It will be released tomorrow for N. America and then approximately a week later in Europe. Paradox is handling the release in Europe and I think Asia so if you are there then you need to contact them about availability and release. At least that is what has been stated in other posts.

Token system?

You can purchase the game outright for a set price or use a certain # of tokens both from stardock.com. Apparently the number crunching shows that its $5 less to go the token route.

Actually the 5-token TotalGaming.net membership wasn't supposed to be up.  So a few people (Very few) got themselves a particularly good deal but it's gone now.

You can still get a TotalGaming.net membership for $69.95 and get 10 tokens, use 5 tokens to get Galactic Civilizations II.
